In June of 2023, I was at a crossroads. I knew it was time to start my private practice. I didn’t have time or energy to make mistakes. I enrolled in Jena Castro-Casbon’s Independent Clinician course, and it guided me through all the steps so I could move forward without worrying that I would unknowingly commit tax fraud, get sued because I didn’t have the right liability insurance, or hit unnecessary roadblocks because I hadn’t done things in the right order. It also allowed me to focus on treating clients instead of getting an honorary degree in starting a business.
Today I was featured on her “Start Your Private Practice” podcast. I love sharing my story and the career satisfaction that owning my practice has given me.
