VitalStim

In August of 2023 I completed training to become a provider for VitalStim dysphagia treatment, a neuromuscular electrostimulation modality to improve swallowing. I did a follow-up training in December 2024 for the VitalStim Plus, which offers all kinds of fun options (like biofeedback) to make therapy more effective. The owners of the education company (CIAO) Craig and Lesley Mateer, were in their Gulf Breeze, Florida office last week when my husband and I were in the area visiting his parents. They were so warm and welcoming and I can see why the training I have received is so excellent–it comes from the top!  Craig and Lesley are personable, smart, and passionate about their field.  They make me even more proud to be be in this occupation.
